My husband and I have just completed our fifth real estate transaction with Leone, and once again it was a smooth and successful experience.

Our first time working with Leone was the purchase of our first home, over 10 years ago. Since then we sold that property to developers and bought a small, interim condo, my husband bought an office condo downtown, we bought our 'dream home' and just recently sold the interim condo - all with our agent of choice, Leone. Leone and I met a few years ago, in our mutually favourite car mechanics waiting room. We talked for hours, giggling like old friends, although I wondered, almost as soon as we began chatting, what this woman with the dynamite laugh, did for a living? Either a writer or an actress I thought. Wrong. A realtor she said, after I got up the courage to ask. Now that was a surprise.

We had been talking for a long time, about a variety of subjects, yet she didn’t ever get into that scary, PR/Marketing mode. She was just passing the time, as I was, waiting for the car doctor to work his magic.

Leone wasn’t aware I had been thinking about selling my home but I instinctively knew that I could work with her as I was obviously enjoying her company, quick wit and her view of life. Most of all, I realized I would be able to trust her judgment. After all, don't we patronize the best mechanic in the city?

My initial gut feeling was right. We worked together for months, looking at houses and staging mine. Leone King has worked with us, over the years, to buy a house, sell, then buy again. We had unique and specific requirements in the two purchases, and Leone worked tirelessly to ensure that twe found the house that we had envisioned, and negotiated a price and terms that we could afford.

After that, she led us patiently through the complexity of mortgages and legal paperwork that finalized the purchase.

At the same time, Leone helped us prepare our previous house to show well and sell. Finally, she co-ordinated our packing and moving to fit seamlessly between the sale and purchase.

Plus, she has really fast car to go look at houses. Sadly, you can't smoke in it. unless you ride in the trunk.
